Your Appearance Determines Your Acceptance..

*Dress How You Want To Be Addressed*

*Dear Teacher* , You Might Not Be Paid Like a Senator, But Please, Look Like Somebody!

Let’s be honest, sometimes the salary comes late, sometimes it comes small, and sometimes, it just comes and goes like breeze. 😂

But one thing that shouldn’t ever leave you is your neatness and your dignity.

I once saw a teacher at an event, hair rough, shirt faded, shoes crying for help.

When she said she was a teacher, one man sighed and said, “I guessed.”

That day, I told myself, “No, we must change this narrative!”

 *Dear teacher* ,

Whether you’re paid well or not, look good.

Wear clean clothes.

 *Press that shirt.*

 *Polish that shoe* .

 *Comb that hair.*

Even if it’s cornrows you can afford, make it neat.

Even if it’s one good dress you have, wear it proudly and keep it fresh.

You represent something noble.

You’re not just teaching, you’re modeling what excellence looks like.

Your learners are watching, your colleagues are noticing, and parents are observing.

Neatness doesn’t mean extravagance.

It means self-respect.

And when you look good, you feel good, your confidence shows, your class glows, and even your presence commands quiet respect.

So on Morning morning, before you say “Good morning class,” say to yourself first:

“I’m a teacher, not a victim.”

Walk tall,

look decent, and wear your pride with your clean outfit.

Because no matter the pay, dignity still pays.
